Blue Squared Window Automation & Smoke Ventilation Solutions were delighted to have been awarded the automation package on the redevelopment of Pacific House in the heart of Melbourne CBD which is now nearing completion.

The newly refurbished building will house 3 levels of restaurants.

This project included 60 automated awning windows to be used for day to day ventilation. SE Controls OS2 SHEVTEC controllers were used with UPS/battery back-up, controlling the awning windows from a BMS signal for day to day natural ventilation.

Blue Squared strives to achieve bespoke solutions for clients and this project was no different with custom made BSCHD24 twin chain actuators manufactured to approximately 1450mm, powder coated to colour match the steel windows. The actuators have bespoke mounting brackets designed in house by Blue Squared to add to the aesthetic design of the project.
